Traimaine Taylor

Traimaine is an Associate of George Walton Payne & Co. He is an integral part of the Real Property and Personal Injury Team.

Traimaine graduated from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados in 2015, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws degree (Hons.). He obtained his Legal Education Certificate in 2017. 

Traimaine was the recipient of the firm’s 2015 recipient of the George Walton Payne & Co. Scholarship While at Law School, Traimaine was awarded the prize for Most Outstanding Student in the Legal Aid Clinic of the Hugh Wooding Law School. Traimaine was admitted to the Bar in Barbados and joined the firm in 2017.  

Traimaine has a keen interest in the Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, Intellectual Property and Corporate and Commercial Practice areas. He has worked closely with the respective partners of the firm in these areas. In addition to his main practice areas, he also advises clients with respect to the preparation of wills and estate planning while also obtaining grants of representation and assisting with the administration of estates.

At his age, Traimaine has also served on the Board of Directors of the National Housing Corporation. 

Outside of the firm Traimaine’ interest extend mainly to physique competitions and service organisations as he is an active member of the Optimist Club of Barbados, Bridgetown. Traimaine is the 2019 Champion of the ABC’s Men’s Physique competition
