Mawena Maynard

Mawena Maynard is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados having attained her law degree with honours in 2010. She is also a graduate of the Hugh Wooding Law School, Trinidad having attained her Legal Education Certificate in 2012. She was called to the Barbados Bar in 2012 and has practised both at the Criminal and Civil Bar.

Overview

She has worked in the Legal Department of Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited, Fortis Legal Attorneys-at-Law and Hastings Attorneys-at-Law.

Over the last 12 years, Mawena has gained extensive litigation experience in various areas including corporate and commercial law, civil law, banking and finance, employment law, estates, personal injuries, debt recovery, family law conveyancing, power of sale, receivership, bankruptcy and mortgages.

Mawena is a Director of the Board of the Barbados Endometriosis Association.
