Okera N. Hill

Okera is a proud Combermere School alumna. She commenced her legal studies at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in 2016. During her journey at the University of the West Indies she participated in many other extra-curricular activities which included: working with Barbadian entrepreneurs, musical performances with the Barbados Youth Orchestra and teaching the violin. Okera also participated in the Clark Gittens Farmer Mooting Competition and served as the President and Vice President of the Campus Crusade for Christ committee.

Overview

Okera graduated from the University of the West Indies in 2019, and was the recipient of the George Walton Payne & Co. Scholarship in that same year. She pursued her Legal Education Certificate at Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago and graduated in 2021. 

Okera then joined the firm as an Associate in 2022. Her main areas of practice are Commercial/Company Law, Intellectual Property, Estates and Succession, Data Protection, and Personal Injury.

Outside of law, Okera maintains a keen interest in the renewable energy sector and enjoys playing the violin, teaching violin and polo.
